It just will NOT work. So if you want to run it, you'll need to do what dosraider suggested, and install Windows 3. OR what might be easier is just find the DOS version of the game. Obviously I did something wrong or I assume it would be working since it has worked for others. I have searched for other versions of Chips Challenge and cannot find any.

Chip has an unlimited number of lives, so you can redo a level as often as you want until you solve it. If you fail too often, the game will even generously let you skip the current level. Best of all, the first eight levels are tutorials that gradually introduce new gameplay elements so that players will not be overwhelmed. Overall, this is one of the best puzzle games ever made, and a must-have for every puzzle gamer, especially experts who have frowned at easy games. Two thumbs up!
The next best thing is to download and play Tile World , a fanmade "emulator" that allows you to play the original levels plus hundreds of homemade levels created by fans of the game.

GG 1 point. This game was done brilliantly, it has a lot of elements such as dodging enemies, solving puzzles, also racing against the time. Bon 0 point. I loved this game on my first PC, when I purchased my laptop some how I lost it and couldn't recover.
