The drain provided is supposed to be installed prior to tub installation and is held in place with a brass nut. It seems the only way to connect to waste pipe is to have access to the bottom of the tub.
This is a replacement tub. Walls are sheet-rocked. It is an alcove tub, so no access unless I cut a hole in sheet-rock and access from neighboring bathroom. Am I missing something?
